Ok, so you've put on your brand new pair of Heelys Roller Trainers and they're looking pretty fine! So, what's next? You could check out your How to Heel DVD that should have been sent with your order and look at the Heelys manufacturers homepage to see the fantastic stunts and tricks that you will be doing in a few weeks ... or you could just put on your new skate shoes, stand up, kick off and heel!
Ensure your Heelys are securely tied and you are on a flat, fairly smooth surface (perhaps with a railing nearby for support if needed)
Put one foot in front and one slightly behind , with your feet shoulder width apart
With the toes of your front foot, slightly raise to balance on your Heelys' wheel(s), push off using your back foot.
Put your back foot on the ground at the same angle as your front, so that you are balanced on both wheels and your heelys will guide you across the ground!
From this point on, just practise and your roller trainers will soon feel a part of you, as you develop to do some awesome stunts and tricks ... maybe get a grind plate for your heelys sk8 shoes to grind on bars when doing jumps!
